Jarvis Cocker vs. Des Ark

VS.

And we're back.  I guess it's the New Year.  What have I been doing?

Look folks, this is really simple  now.  You've listened to most of these albums.  All you have to do now is pick the one you like more and write that in the comments.  It should take you like two seconds, unless you want to write about why you like that one more, which would be great--but really, you can just say I like Des Ark more, for example, which is what I'm doing right now.

Votes due soon.

  1. Can I vote both of these out? Seriously, how did these get to the second round? I guess I'm voting for Des Ark if I have to. C'mon people. I think every one of my selections got voted out.

So far I'm living up to my New Year's resolution to be more bitter.

    1. 1) I like your promptness.
      2) I like your bitterness...
      3) ...even though the reason Des Ark beat Washed Out is because you and Jeff didn't vote for your own pick.

  2. I vote Jarvis Cocker. As the All Music Guide review rightly states: "...it's impossible not to happily wallow in the flood of filth unleashed by Further Complications."

  3. Q: How did these get to the second round?
A: Probably because they got matched up against something I submitted.

    2. Yes, and even when you do weigh in you don't cast a vote. BOOM.

  5. Jarvis Cocker. I'm voting against anything that makes me have to go to bandcamp.

  8. Des Ark I vote you.
I would like to meet her and probably when she sings, she spits.
    She has good momentum.

    Jarvis Cocker coo though.
I like the darkness. Slush. Homewrecker!

  9. Meh. Des Ark wears a little bitter on me since the beginning of MDM.
Jarvis just keeps saying angela angela angela angela angela over and over. (If you don't know what song I'm talking about, it's the one called "Angela".)

  10. Uh, that'd be "better" not "bitter." Though either might apply.
